I believe…
…in One God, eternally Triune, consisting of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4*, Matt 28:19, John 10:30, )**
…that humans were created to be in relationship with God, but that sin has separated us. We are in need of restoration to God, and our sins must be forgiven. (Genesis 3:1-24, 1 John 1:8)**
…that God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, that He created the universe in love, and man in His own image for fellowship. We are reconciled through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Genesis1:1, Genesis 1:27, Job 38 & 39, Isaiah 40:26, Isaiah 48:12)**
…that Jesus Christ is fully God: the preexistent Son, through Whom all things were made, and fully man: conceived by power of the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary, and Who now holds all power under Heaven and on earth. (Isaiah 42:1-4, John 1:1-18, Luke 1:26-38, Matthew 28:18, Colossians 1:15-18, Philippians 2:9-11)**
…that the Holy Spirit is God eternal, the Counselor, the indwelling Spirit of God, present in both the Old and New Testaments. He conforms us into the image of Christ, intercedes, teaches, instructs, empowers, and releases His fullness by gifts and fruits. (John 14:16-17, John 14:26, 1 Corinthians 13:14, Romans 8:26, Galatians 5:22, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, more info)**
…that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments is the only eternal, infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is God-breathed and the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, reproof. The Bible cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any way. Also, we need the Bible each and every day. (Jeremiah 23:29, Psalm 32:8, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, Revelations 22:18-19)**
…that Jesus Christ made atonement for our sins by His death and resurrection, and by acceptance of His grace we are then reconciled to God. I believe in the sufficiency of His atonement, and that He is the truth, the way, and the life, and that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven by which we might be saved. (Isaiah 53, Colossians 1:19-23, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Hebrews 1:3)**
…that we who are believers are baptized into one Body of Christ, that we are all one in Christ. We are new creations and do not willfully sin. We are temples of the Holy Spirit and called to live lives of holiness unto the Lord. We are here to share the Good News of the Kingdom of God, to make disciples of all nations, to share in the joy of His suffering, to love God and our neighbor…and much more! (Matthew 22:36-40, Matthew 28:19, , 1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Corinthians 12:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 3:9, Philippians 3:10, Galatians 3:28, 2 Peter 3:11-12)**
…that the Lord Jesus will return one day soon to receive His church and judge the world. (Matthew 24:42-44, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelations 16:15, Revelations 22:7, 12-13)

*Here is an extensive commentary on the Tri-Unity of God.
**It would be impossible for me to list all of the Bible verses that pertain to these articles, as I would have to list the entire Bible itself. I have chosen some scriptures to reveal these truths to us, yet there are many more. There are a few more things I’d like to add to this Statement of Faith, so it may be amended!
